All right, final hour, Willie and Jerry, in for Boomer NGO,

built Ford Tough Studio, been all over the map today, as always is the case.

We started way back when at 6 o'clock with a lot of positivity.

Matter of fact, we didn't even get to the Yankees still 7.

But, you know, when we opened the program, we opened with the Mets who continued their dominance, specifically their home dominance over the Phillies.

And there was a lot to like in this game yesterday as they get set now for the Marlins at what could really shape up to be a very big homestand, a big weekend at City Field.

If they can go take three out of four from Miami.

You know, obviously one game at a time, but a very good start to this week by winning all three.

And I think what you liked yesterday was everything.

You like the situational hitting.

You like the fact that Nolan McLean continues to dazzle.

You like the fact that they gain another game on the Phillies. You like the fact that you've got people talking about the Mets being and City Field being in the Phillies heads. If you were a Met fan yesterday, Willie, you got almost everything you wanted to say. Yeah, not only that. I think we talked about this team really starting. You have posed a question a couple of days ago. Maybe yesterday you said, what are the men's good at? Yeah. It was hard to kind of put our finger in. And I said grit. They were just gritty. But yesterday was, they seemed to just click. They played sexy baseball. When you had McLean pitching the way he was pitching, when you saw Lindoror when you saw McNale and then when you

had Nemo then when you see uh v what's the name meant mark viantos you know hit that single and then

followed up with a two-run homer i mean it was it was just fun baseball to watch so i i think overall

if you're a meds fan you have to be comfortable where they're at right now even even something

as simple as and it failed uh because he was thrown out at second, but even the playoff the wall, Harrison Bader throws out Lindor trying to stretch a single into a double. Which was great because Lindor pointed at him. He did. Like, you got me. Former teammates, you got me. It took the perfect play off the wall, the perfect throw, and he just got him.

And I almost thought he got the guy on at third, too.

He was off a little bit. Close. I thought he was close to getting him there. But like the aggressiveness, like that's, I think, part of the story, too. It wasn't just that they were sitting back and waiting for the home run ball. they were, you know, base hit, base hit station to station,

trying to make something happen like Lindor did in that spot.
