This influx of these young pitchers, McLean and Tong, has been awesome.

Now, can that continue?

That's a big, big if, but it's been awesome.

And they're the exact opposite of what we've seen from these other guys.

The nibbling and the tiredness and the laboring and all of that.

These guys are bang, bang, bang, bang bang bang bang throwing balls in the zone attacking

hitters it's just awesome so there's that which we didn't have before we left and then also

their record they they play good against good teams they play crap against crap fees so like

there's good teams in the playoffs. Yep.

So those are my glass half full things.

I still think there's something off and something missing, and I still don't love them as a group.

But those are two things that you really look at if you want to be positive.

Three straight starters go at least seven innings.

That's what I'd love to see.

That's not happening. That's when you know and things start turning around. But the other thing, too, is I would be remiss if I didn't point out how well Juan Soto has been playing. Oh, yeah. And how important he's been and how many clutch hits he's had. And quite frankly, it seems like as the the season has gone on he has gotten stronger and

stronger and stronger and stronger and what are they got about 24 games left now yeah i think it's

about 24 25 games left and quite frankly you know i i watched Detroit okay does Detroit have like a bunch

of superstars running all over the place? No.

No, they got Charlie Morton on the mound, for God say. Yeah, they do have the, you know,
