They lost to the Cubs on Sunday in 10-2-1.

And again, they'll have won nothing into the night. But the blown saved by Devin Williams and then the game-winning sack fly from Nico Horner. Of course, the game was tied by Michael Conforto, the former met with that RBI double. Here was Francisco Lindor, 11 straight losses. We are not down. We're just not winning. No one here is hanging their heads.

Everybody got their head up high and fighting for each other.

And today, you know, they play a good game, but I came up in situations to drive runners in.

And, no, didn't do that.

Nor did anybody else. And one guy you should leave out of this is Carlos Mendoza, the manager. He's done a fantastic job. This is not on him. This is not on him. He has made sure everybody here is prepared. Every coach here is prepared. And we have the information. It comes down on us. Mindy's our guy.

They're certainly not doing it for him.

I do appreciate what he says there.

There's no question about that.

He's trying to be as honest and as straightforward as he possibly can.

And he's got his managers back.

So there is something to be said about the loyalty and the support for the manager, but you got to start performing

or something's going to happen. Something's going to have to give. Yep. And right now they're not

winning. Here was Devin Williams. Obviously, I'm really, really disappointed, you know. They

gave me a lead. It's my job to hold it. And I made a mistake. It cost us the game today.

Paid for it dearly with that double down the line that, again, Tyrone Taylor kind of botched into a run scoring double.

Here was Carlos Mendoza.

This is brutal what they're going through and what they've been through.

Winless road trip.

They didn't play great at home prior to it.
