September and October in sports.

Of course, some of the busiest this is here and then April's of big month,

but October is probably the greatest month of sports.

So we're hurling towards that, hopefully with two baseball teams.

We've only got one in the postseason, hopefully two in the post season of the

season if the Mets can figure it out.

And if I'm the Mets and I'm watching the Phillies once again celebrate and spray the champagne everywhere last night, like that should piss you off. It should. Now, I know you haven't had a shot in months to win a division, but you were leading that division at one point this year. You did lose the division last year. They won the division last year as well. You beat them in the playoffs and they're celebrating. You got to be thinking like, God, we got to get back to where we were,

where we felt like they had an advantage or the Mets had an advantage over Philadelphia,

like the Braves had the advantage over the Mets for many years. It felt like that earlier in

the year that the Mets had the Phillies number.

And right now the Phillies look like the much better baseball team, 90 wins, division champs and heading into the postseason riding high.

And two guys that have made a huge difference for the Phillies, you know, that's Harrison Bader

who has been money for them. And of course, they're on, their pitcher, they're closer.

Now he gave up a run last night, but still he basically mowed down the Mets in their last two games. And, you know, the Mets had no answer for him. So I, look, they have to, if they get in, like my buddy was telling me, Drew Kuliski told me, he goes, man if you've got to play the Mets, like everybody's like for some reason. Who does he want to play? You know what it is? I don't, you know, look, I think everybody sees the Mets and they see the players on the team, except for the Mets fan. Like, we're hopeful. I believe we're hopeful. You've got to believe that whole thing.

But after the last three and a half months of baseball, the way that they have played, it's been brutal.

Yeah.

And could it be that they catch fire at the right time? And if there was ever the right time to catch fire, it's going to be now.

And I understand what he sees.

He sees Juan Soto.

He sees Francisco Indoor.

He sees Pete Alonzo and Mark Vantos hitting home runs.

He sees contact hitters in Nemo and McNeil.
