The New York Yankees going to the World Series happens Saturday night.

They dispose of the Guardians and they will be in the World Series to face the L.A.

Dodgers, unfortunately, who ended the Mets season late last night in game six.

I told you, put the bunting up, spray the World Series logo on the field.

They were not coming back for a game six in the ALCS.

But the Mets season, it was special, it was different.

It was something that I don't think a lot of Mets fans are ever going to forget.

And yes, there's plenty of bad football to get to as well.

But I was thinking my entire life I've been judging these seasons on whether or not my teams win championships.

And I've seen everything but a championship.

Like I've seen my teams get really far, just haven't seen a championship, you know, in my lifetime

that I remember. And I decided, you know what, it's okay to judge seasons positively or negatively

with other things too. Like this team got me and my mom to that game Friday, got my wife and my daughters

to watch baseball.
