First things first I've been taught to be a classy individual

so there's no other place to start and congratulating the American League champion New York

Yankees and congratulating the W-NBA champion New York Liberty.

Those are the fan bases that have a set of emotions on this Monday afternoon of elation,

excitement, happiness.

Then you've got some fan bases, namely the New York Jets and the New York Giants,

whose fan bases are angry and disgusted.

And then you've got the Mets, and I can only speak for myself.

My emotion 14 hours after their season ended is I'm very sad.

I'm very sad that the Mets season is over and I'm very sad and disappointed that they missed out on this

golden opportunity. I know that a lot of Met fans today they may call in they may have

been saying it all day on the air they may have been tweeting it hey I'm so

happy thank you I'm so

appreciative yippity do da this was a great year you're not necessarily wrong

for saying that but as I've warned you for months Tiki I can't get there 14 hours after my season is over. To me it is

still about what could have been and I want every med fan to understand

something. I don't know what the future holds. They may win the

world series next year. I have no idea. But the Mets being the plucky

underdog, the O. M. G. Fun-loving, shock the world Metsies that died last night in LA.

That's not who they're ever going to be again.
