We get baseball back today after an off day, and the New York Mets did something very, very interesting

yesterday. I want to make it clear, this is not something I was suggesting. Last week, yes,

we were ahead of the curve talking about how the Yankees should have moved Sunday afternoon's

game to Saturday afternoon because the forecast was so bad for Sunday and so good for Saturday.

And we had a discussion about it.

Like, teams should do that.

Yep.

I believe when rain's involved and making your fans sit around for five hours or in this

case three and a half hours, we should use the technology of the weather and knowing

what's going to happen, even if it's not perfect, to make it better.

I don't necessarily agree with that when it comes to cold.

I'm being honest with you, and I'll tell you why.

And for those that are not aware, I'm sure you are by now, the New York Mets regularly scheduled

710 game has been moved up to 410 today and tomorrow because the weather is supposed to be very cold.

I wonder how many more people, if at all, are going to show up three hours earlier than the regularly scheduled 7 o'clock game.

Now, the Mets are doing a lot of nice things. They're giving you vouchers.

There's actually some free tickets to go to today and tomorrow's game. And if you had tickets to today and tomorrow's game and you're affected by the time change, same thing you get a voucher for a game in April and May. That is awesome. That is tremendous. I'm just saying in general, don't you think less people will be at the game because of the time change? And if you just kept it at 7 o'clock and you allowed the fans to make the decision on their own if it's too cold? Yeah, I mean, more likely than not. But it's also just cold. Like, what are we talking about? We're talking about five degrees if you look at the difference. Yeah, between 4 o'clock and 7 o'clock. I think I also saw in red that it was the wind. Wind always makes cold a lot colder than it actually is so even if it's a 50 it feels like it's 30 something right with the with the wind so maybe it's the wind also if it's if it's if it's gaily enough could affect the baseball in some some regards right or not the but it's still, what are we talking about? It's cold. Listen, what are you saying? Are you glad that they move the game up? No. Oh, you think it's stupid? I think it's soft. You think it's soft? Yes. Wow. Geez. Like, what do we do? I hate rookies. I hate, weather changes. Wow. Sean loves it. I love it. Let's just try to be careful before. Why do you love it? Well, there's a couple things. First of all, I think this week's a little unique and different in that in April, you usually get the cold nights anyway with fans. You know the deal. Kids are off this week, man. There were probably a lot of people looking to take the kids. are off are off this week. Like my kids had off last week. All right. All I can speak for is because Cityfield's on Long Island, all of Long Island is off of school this week. So it will benefit the kids in your mind. If you were thinking about taking your kids to a MET game this week, you know what? I got to get these kids out of the house. It's something They don't have a bedtime or whatever. And then you see... Mommy. Mommy. Mommy. Mommy.

And then you see temperatures Mommy. Mommy. Mommy.

Right. And then you see... Temperatures are going to be 39 degrees at night.

That, let's all be honest, there are wives at home that are going, you only taking a kid to the game tonight. It's cold. Four o'clock start. People have time to work. We don't have the people working from home anyway, you will get more kids in the ballpark

this week. That's so true. Yeah, I think it's one of those
