for you i'm sure whether it's quiet loud guys this remains the highlight of the winter meetings

for me is joining you guys it is tradition at this point which we are proud to say i don't think

we've started a show with you like this though let. Let's get right into it because the people are

freaking out. Edwin Diaz, how did we get here where Edwin Diaz is no longer a met? Because all the

information we have is that there's a $3 million difference. So what is there really to unpack right here,

Will? Well, I will say the freak out is warranted warranted right i mean we're talking about

edwin dyes who mets fans know was the best free agent libra available and he is somebody that

has been uh proven and tested in new york city and has gone through it has come out on top

and for all all intents of purposes we thought that this was going to be somebody that the Mets would retain.

And it was shocking to me.

It really was that to see him and to hear that he was going to the L.A. Dodgers or really anybody other than the New York Mets.

I was shocked when I heard that news, when that was relayed to me.
