The New York Mets take on a team that gave up a few days ago, the San Francisco Giants,

a team that started selling off their entire bullpen, a team that

the Mets had annihilated not too long ago, a team that the Pittsburgh Pirates had annihilated.

The Mets faced that team at City Field, and in front of a combined total of about

125,000 fans, the New York Mets absolutely crap the bet.

That's what happened over the weekend against the San Francisco Giants.

We will analyze about said crap that was taken by the New York Mets over these three days

as they lose two out of three to the crappy San Francisco Giants.

I don't have the fullest of voices because I spent my Sunday night at SummerSlam.

And that was quite an experience, especially when you have two young boys that need to be held up so they can see all the action.

So my arms are sore, my back is sore, my voice is sore, and the Mets stink.

So, you know, you combine all that, I'm in a wonderful mood.

But hopefully you're in a great mood, whether consuming the Rico Brunia live on a very,

very late Sunday night, early Monday morning, or you decided to download this podcast

on your way to work on a Monday morning as the Mets get set to play three games

against Cleveland and hopefully just get this horrible taste out of their mouth. So you start

with Friday because Friday night was the kind of game in which it felt sort of magical.

As frustrating as the first eight innings were, you know, the Mets are down to nothing.

The offense can't do dick against Robbie Ray.

They can't even put rallies together.
