Somehow, some way the New York Mets are not playing postseason baseball in 2025 despite

dedicating close to half a billion dollars to a baseball team.

And Steve Cullen, the owner, going all in after what was a great season last year.

It's an expanded playoff.

They had every opportunity in the world over the last three and a

half months to get it done and they didn't. And they have the Cincinnati Reds who need to lose,

losing, and they get shut out. They didn't earn it. They didn't deserve it. There was something

rotten with this team. I don't know what it was. There has been zero reporting on it from

inside that clubhouse. I mean, it felt like, you know, when it's the Jets, there's always

something, like somebody's got some nugget of this thing or that thing. I haven't heard a

single thing about like any sort of issues within that clubhouse that led to this weird

season, the direct opposite of last year where everybody loved one another and they played

for each other.

And then this year, it's just there's just some sort of sourness with this group the entire

year.

I mean, you said it before.

You don't know if they like each other or not.

I'm not sure either.

But one thing is for sure that this is the result of what happened this year.

This cannot be a cosmetic offseason.

There has to be a real deep look into what the hell happened.

And you got to rebuild the foundation of this team and the core of this
