Darrow Strawberry what I could not get over was how nobody was there and I'm not ripping anybody because the one thing I'll

certainly won't do because I question myself every day for doing it is

continuing to spend money to watch a banned product. So I will never lecture you why didn't you go. So what I'm

going to do right now with Tiki is ask questions. Yeah. And try to figure out

the reason. Because the New York Mets honored Darrell Strawberry on Saturday and they announced that attendance of 30,000 people,

30,000.

The night before on a Friday night, they announced 34,000 people.

So think about that on a Friday night against the Diamondbacks,

34,000 because there was fireworks, full disclosure, fireworks got more people to show up than

Darrell Strawberry.

As I said on the RICO last night, if you watched it,

their one sellout besides opening day

was for a Hello Kitty Bobblehead.

They sold out a Hello Kitty bobblehead. They sold out a Hello Kitty bobblehead.

But for Darryl, it got 30,000 people.

For Doc in the middle of April, they got 33,000 people.

The Mets didn't do anything wrong. and I'm not even saying the fans did anything wrong,

because who am I to tell you, drop $150 to go to City Field and watch this crap product?

I guess what I'm trying to figure out is why do people

not care as much about honoring the 86 Mets? Is it because it was a long time ago?
