I'll start with the bad because it was last night, and then I'll get to the Yankees, which wasn't bad. They just lost a game. Kind of a laffer for the Nationals as they beat up the Mets. Pretty good last night. Brady House. Drives one out to Deep West Center. This ball is crushed into the gap. And it's out of here. Brady House a grand slam here in the fourth. And then that's it busted it open big time. It's 9 to 1. And that was Nationals TV with the call. Ha, ha, ha, ha, 9-1, yes. 14 to 2 was the final score. You had everything in this game. Walks, hit by pitchers, not good def, just terrible. 14-2, Nationals win. The Mets now 10 and 20. David Peters, that was Sean Minai that gave up the Grand Slam, but that was after David Peterson stunk. You had Curtis Mead have four hits. James Wood doubled, drove in three. C.J. Abrams, a pair of RBI singles. Peterson was the problem, though. Once again,

not a great first inning. Good, two, and three, and then horrible after that. Here was Carlos

1:00.9

Mendoza. What is his issue? We've seen it in some of his outings where it's that one inning that

1:07.4

he gets away from him, and then he'll give you three where it's like, okay, back in it.

1:12.2

But he just got to be able to compete in the strike zone. Yeah. And then he was asked a very

1:16.1

direct question about the team itself. Worst record in baseball now with the expectations that

1:21.4

you guys had, how do you explain just what this team is dealing with right now. We have to be better.

1:28.2

You know, there's no excuses, obviously.

1:30.1

You know, he's been a long period of time here where we're not playing well.

1:34.9

So I've got to fix it.

1:37.4

So Peterson, three and two-thirds, seven runs on five hits and three walks is what he was charged with.

1:43.2

He's 0-and and four with a six point

1:44.9

five three er a if that wasn't bad enough maniah has an area of six point five five he

1:51.0

give up six runs on seven hits and two walks and two and two thirds here was peterson what is the issue

1:56.1

i think it could be a multitude of things.

2:02.7

Tonight felt like I was a little quick at the beginning.

2:05.8

And then, you know, towards the end,

2:09.8

felt like I might have got a little too rotational rather than straight down through my pitches.

2:11.5

And just one last one, because I gave you his stats and his numbers,

2:14.7

and it is atrocious.

2:16.0

What is the confidence level you have in yourself that you can turn this around? Very high. Why? Because I've done it before and I believe in myself and I know I have this stuff to do it. Well, it's a good answer, but you know, I wonder if he's hurt. I wonder if his arm is tired. You know, there could be a multitude of things that, you know, affect pitchers that they don't want to talk about either.

2:36.5

You know, I don't know what it is.
