What's up everybody? Welcome to the Mets Pod and welcome to the Mets are officially in the playoffs edition of the Mets pod Joe. We didn't do much celebrating. The Mets did a little bit

of celebrating. But you know what? For all of the talk about, you know, how are they going to approach this?

Since the division's not wrapped up, it's still a tight race, I thought it was very tasteful.

I thought it was exciting. It was easy to be happy for Buck, the young players that have been with this franchise that have not made the playoffs and the new additions that have been

there but also soaked in the moment so what were your thoughts is the Mets clinched an official playoff

spot the funniest thing to me was when they interviewed Francisco Lindor and he was like it was

classy it was subdued you know we have bigger goals asked Pete, so Pete, well, I have ketchup and

mustard on the back of my head. So, so a couple, a couple different perspectives there. But,

you know, it's an exciting day. I mean, when we started this podcast, we were hoping that we were

going to have a podcast like this, that we were talking about the Mets as a playoff team. And we're here.

And I think it was kind of weird.

Over the last few days when it seemed like this was coming, you know, really soon,

it was this whole discussion online.

How should you react?

I'm excited.
