What's up, everybody? Welcome to the Mets pod. I'm your host, Connor Rogers, joined as always by my co-host, Joe DeMayo, and the final sprint is here. The final turn of the corner. Joe, it looks like it's not going to be smooth sailing, not going to be easy.

There was a point where the Mets were two and a half games up.

As you and I sit here, the Mets have a game and a half leading the division.

It is all going to come down to the series in Atlanta.

But it's been a fun little run here for the Mets,

and especially the Mets offense, the damage that they were able to do in Oakland.

Feeling good. And, you know, we've been saying this for probably three weeks now.

This division race is going to come down to that series in Atlanta. And it may not technically,

like I don't know necessarily if there's going to be champagne poured everywhere in Atlanta.

There's a chance if the Mets sweep out the Marlins here over the next couple days.

And if they could sweep in Atlanta, then boom, they clinched the division in Atlanta.

But in a world of somewhat realism, the Mets still control their fate, which is what we talked about last
