What are some of the differences or maybe things added on in that new role of being the bench coach?

Yeah, I mean, honestly, I asked myself that question too.

I have I've got some other buddies that are bench coaches throughout Major League Baseball,

and I've had plenty of conversations with them.

And every one of them is unique.

It kind of depends on the manager.

And, you know, I'm just, I'm very

thankful to be under Buck. I'm very calm, like knowing he's there. He's got it. He dots the

eyes, crosses the T's. And he's very prepared. And that's given me a sense of, I don't have to

overwork. I don't have to do something that I'm not used to.

And like I said, this whole thing will kind of happen organically.

And I'm very thankful to be underneath Buck.

it is Mets bench coach now, Eric Chavez. Eric, I know spring training is just one day after the other.

So we really appreciate your time today. How are you doing? I'm doing really good.

Yeah. It's been a good spring training. We've got a lot of look at some of our young guys and,

you know, been under Buck's wing for the last couple weeks. So it's been a lot of fun for me.

Yeah, I feel like it's a unique atmosphere down there, especially with the WBC going on. It's nice to see the younger players get that extended look.

But I wanted to start by asking you. We know you've had a couple front office stints under Billy Epler with the Yankees, with the Angels, of course.

But coaching, when you were playing, was there a moment where you go, okay, I don't really ever want to be away from the game. I want to be on the field in the dugout
