What's up, everybody? Welcome to another episode of the Mets Pod. I'm your host, Connor

Rogers, joined as always by my co-host, Joe DeMayo and Joe. We have a lot to get through. Spring

Training Rolls on. The World Baseball Classic is officially underway, and it would not be this time of year if the

Mets didn't have some injury maybe minor major at the rotation we have the same discussion

every single year when they have seven to eight starters everybody goes how are you going to make

this work and Joe's famous line is these things tend to figure themselves out.

So I think we start right there before we get into the much, much more positive.

Look at Jose Cantana, right?

A guy that has been really reliable lately, a guy that was signed as a back end rotation starter for the Mets this offseason on a pretty low annual deal of only two years as well.

And now he's going to miss some time.

How much time that is, we don't have a definite answer because these ribbed stress

fractures can vary.

But the more important point here, Joe, is that it kind of amplifies the potential role

of a Tyler McGill, David Peterson for sure, who had a minor foot injury throughout the spring,

but it feels like the Mets got the best case news there. So here we are, the Mets rotation
