I know we're going to just basically eviscerate Kodi Seng it today. I know that's happening.

I don't want to talk about him anymore. I don't either. And the reason I don't is because

part of me feels bad for him. And I know it's hard for people to understand why I would say that.

But when I watch him pitch, I see a guy who's completely lost his confidence. This is not the guy

who first arrived here and we thought was going to be

either the, either Topper rotation guy or at least the third guy in the rotation that was going to be this

special player. And now what I see is I see what happens to a lot of New York athletes when they come here,

especially those guys that end up failing or coming back

from injury and not being 100%, although he's always been a guy that has been so worried about

how he feels before he takes the mound. I mean, part of me feels really bad for him because he's just

not performing at the level that they've expected him to perform at. And even Carlos Mendoza just lit him up. And I say lit him up. I mean, he was very critical of his performance yesterday, and then he said he was going to go talk to David Stearns about this, and what are we going to do about this? He said the same thing last time, got to talk to David. When he had that last miserable start, they said, is he going to make another one? I know, I know, I know. So I'm just, my point being is that this guy,

That's why there are sports mental health coaches to get these guys through kind of some of the stuff that saying is going through. three-run Homer, I mean, it was like, you got to be kidding me. And you could just, and you can just see it in his body language that his confidence is shot. It's shot. So we shouldn't make another start. I agree. No, I know. I agree. I agree. I'm not saying that he should make another store. I think they got to drop them to the bullpen or they got to try to move them or something because it's not

I know the options aren't a plenty for the Mets right now.

And on top of all with this, you know, Juan Soto leaves a game with a bad back and maybe

Lindor is coming back and maybe these, no, they can't play together.

That's right. They don't play together because one gets hurt. The other one is playing. Then the other gets hurt. And then the other one comes back in place. I mean, this is just a comedy of just one situation after the next that the Mets are dealing with. But in regards to Senga, I mean, there is no, he's got to go to the bullpen. You got to move them. you got to send him down. I don't even know if they can send him down, but they have to do something. They can't continue like this. And it's just, there's two sides of me. There's the Met fan side of me that says, all right, get rid of the guy. And then there's the athlete side of me that says I can see that his confidence is in the toilet, no matter what he says after the game, the body language tells

me all I need to know. And I've seen this now, like four outings in a row. It's the same thing.

So unfortunately for him, he's going through what many athletes go through. He's lost his confidence.
