Hello again, everybody, and welcome to the Mike Francesa podcast, part of the BetRivers Network.

I hope everybody survived wherever you were, I guess, from D.C. to last night up in Massachusetts,

survived the crazy weather of the last couple of days.

30 inches on Long Island of snow, you know, two feet everywhere.

30 inches, I think, was in a couple of spots was the high.

I didn't think the storm did as much damage as it possibly could have. So I think we came away at least in the areas I've seen so far. And that's only Long Island. But I have not

seen the amount of damage that could have been predicted when you think about winds reaching 84 miles an hour, which it did in Montauk.

I think we came out of it pretty good. I mean, I know there were a lot of power outages.

Monz, our producer, he lost his power last night for the whole night, which is tough

for a bunch of little kids.

There were more outages in New Jersey than they were even on Long Island.

So Long Island took it pretty well on the chin, to be honest with you, considering how bad this storm really was for everybody.

So it will make everyone very much appreciate spring this year.

I think more so than in recent years because we've gotten used to having very very mild winters number one this winter's been extremely

cold number two for a variety of reasons i haven't spent as much time in the south as i would

have liked uh but uh that's you know that happens uh but um i wasn't here for the first storm

i was here for the first storm.

I was here for this one.

And this one was really just overwhelming.

It was so big.

But I hope everybody came out of it okay.
