even though the Miami Marlins have been officially eliminated from contention, this is a team

that's playing really well. These teams at the end of the year need to find motivation. They got

plenty of motivation and knocking the Mets out. They are not laying down in any way. So yeah, I mean,

it's the same story. What will happen with these starters after Sprote? I mean, it feels like a

must win tonight, even though it's technically not a must win,, it feels like a must win tonight, even though it's technically

not a must win, but it feels like a must win tonight with Sprote with what we don't know

was going to happen on the mound Saturday and Sunday.

Man, I'm telling you, if they lose this, again, it goes back to the biggest financial

disaster and professional sports. Really?

Because they haven't had that many injuries.

I mean, for the most part, they have been healthy and they have been, you know,

they've been solid all year long.

It's just that they're starting pitching has hit, hit the wall.

Their trade acquisitions haven't worked out the way that the Yankees trades,

acquisitions have worked out. And, you know, if they, if they don't make it, man, it is an unmitigated disaster. Yeah, well, I just, it was as far as payroll goes, it's a financial disaster. I mean, I think that they probably, I mean, this year they had an attendance record. I know that they've, you know, the Soto thing got them a lot of juice.

But as far as spending money on a baseball team to perform and it not performing, yeah, it's got to be the worst.

You can say whatever you want about the Dodgers and the Yankees spending a lot of money on their teams, but their teams make it to the playoffs.

The Mets spent $421 million, that's including taxes and everything else, on this roster.

And if it doesn't make it, it is, it really, you know, and even though they won last

night, we sit here, we're happy they won, we're happy they're going into the last weekend,

they have a chance to make it to the playoffs.

But let's be realistic about what we're watching. You know, we're watching, we're watching, you know, older, older pitchers that have basically hit the wall here at the end of the season.
