Two days ago, Rob Porter, the White House staff secretary, resigned after his ex-wives accused him of physical abuse.

In a press conference afterwards, Sarah Huckabee Sanders said that the accusations were false

and that President Trump and Chief of Staff John Kelly had full confidence in him.

That evening, Kelly said he stood by his previous comments, but was

shocked by the allegations. In an interview with the Washington Post, one of the ex-wives,

Jenny Willoughby, responded, I'm not at all surprised that people who work with him in a professional

capacity see him as a model of discretion and integrity and character, Because like I mentioned, I believe that he is.
