What is it all about?

But do you have any sense of when it is realistic that like a feature film, for example,

either animated or whatever, real life, can be made in a way that's effectively, you know,

done without actors or done basically, you just write it

and it, you know, text to video, it becomes a thing.

I do not think it's that far away. I think that the basic technologies to do that are starting to

be released now.

I would say within a year or two,

we will be able to have what we can somewhat defensively call a feature film that is 80% driven by these technologies. Hello and welcome back to Danny in the Valley.

How was everyone's new year?

I feel like I can't even speak about New Year's because it's been like

10 days already, which feels, you know, like a violation of the statute of limitations. So

apologies. But I hope you had a fantastic break. I certainly did. I overindulged. So now I'm trying

to recover a bit, you know, get back to my fighting weight. And here we are in 2024. And while it is a new

year, not a ton has changed. AI is still the thing that is roiling virtually every industry.

Hollywood is no different. So to that end, we have a fabulous guest this week. He is right at the forefront of that change.

Martin Adams is a co-founder of a company called Metaphysic.a.I. They have developed some

really incredible technology that uses AI to transplant a star's face onto someone else's body

to de-age people. If a film needs someone to look a star's face onto someone else's body, to de-age people if a film needs someone

to look a little younger than they are, etc. And I came across metaphysic recently at an AI event,
