Thanks so much for joining me. Hello my friends. I am so excited to be talking to with you today. As a matter of fact I decided to do this special

podcast as a special event different than my T-time Tuesday and I'm so

excited to tell you all about my guest today, but I realize that many of you are new to my

podcast and don't know all of the secrets and intimate details about my family life.

And so today I have as a guest my wonderful precious daughter Joy Clarkson.

Hi Joy.

Hello, mom.

It's lovely to see you. it's so good to see you and for those of you

who don't know joy joy I had three children three miscarriages and I really

wanted another little girl and Nathan came to me and

Nathan said mama I think that you should have another another little girl and I said

you do I said but mommy's kind of you know getting a little bit older and I've had three miscarriages and I was almost 42 as 41 and and he said butama, do you have faith? And so Joy was the child that Nathan prayed for. Of course, we all prayed for her. But I had Joy when I was almost 42 and she has been a total delight and Joy tell everybody where are you and what in the world are you doing? Give a little bit of background on yourself?

So my name is Joy, as you have said, and I live in Scotland, but I work at King's College, London. so I teach theology and the arts.

They have a master's in Christianity and the arts, which is really fun.

It's taught with a national gallery, so it's half its national gallery and half visit

King's College.

And so I teach on their kind of the theology segment of that,

on the idea of beauty in Western theology.

And I also, so I teach there, I did my PhD in St Andrews at the Institute for Theology and the Arts.
