Welcome to Motley Fool Hidden Gems Investing. I'm your host, Tyler Crowe, and today I'm joined by longtime contributors, Matt Frankl, and John Quest.

Today, we're going to dive into a couple mailbag questions. We got questions about GE- Vernova. We got questions about REITs, which I think definitely had Matt excited to talk about

0:25.4

today. But we want to start today with two relatively large announcements from meta platforms

0:31.0

today, all of which related to AI. One of them was the launch of its Mews Spark 1.1 artificial intelligence model,

0:39.6

kind of the next iteration of what they've been doing with AI models. And the second was it

0:44.1

announced that its plans to put its own AI chip into production is going to start in September

So they're going to provide a one million token

1:30.8

context window. What this does is it allows an AI agent to essentially work longer on a task

1:38.4

without forgetting what it's doing. That's actually a problem with some models out there.

1:42.6

You'll send an AI agent to work.

1:44.3

It loses context.

1:45.5

It forgets what it's doing.

1:46.5

It keeps working and keeps spending your money.

1:48.7

That's a problem.
