| 0:05.0 | What we say to our children and what we don't can leave a lasting impact. |
| 0:10.0 | Listen to part two of messages parents send and discover how your attitudes and behaviors matter. |
| 0:17.0 | All of us are communicators, and we're communicating messages sometimes very overtly. |
| 0:23.2 | We say, I love you, or we may say, I don't like you. |
| 0:26.6 | Or sometimes it can be a very subtle kind of communication. |
| 0:31.3 | And you know that you can look with someone else and look in their eyes and never blank and send a message. |
| 0:38.3 | I love you. |
| 0:44.8 | Or you can send a simple facial expression of approval or disapproval. |
| 0:49.2 | Or with your gestures you can talk about without even saying a word, |
| 0:59.2 | something about how intense you're feeling. And the way you carry yourself, either humped over or standing straight, there are all different kinds of ways we communicate, sometimes in pure |

| 1:55.6 | for example, father comes home and he says, guess what? When the lady gave me the change today, she gave me |
| 2:02.0 | $7.52 more than it was coming to me. So I'm $7.52 to the good. And besides that, when she |
| 2:09.4 | checks out this evening, she's going to have to shell out the money because she gave me too much. |
| 2:14.1 | Ho, ho, ho. The father brags about how much money he earned by stealing. |
| 2:22.0 | The communication of the child is this. My father's dishonest. My father doesn't care that that woman's |
