There's a second series of conspiracy, where we speak to leading experts

to find out the truth about some of history's most pervasive conspiracy theories, such as who shot

JFK and whether Elizabeth I was really a man. You can listen to that from the 18th of January.

Or, if you're a fan of the Victorians, from the 22nd of February, you can listen to our deep dive

into the story of Bob Carlisle, a fascinating fellow who was by turns a tiger tamer, a globe-trotting

sailor and a professional wheelbarrow pedestrian. Later in the year, we've got series on the suffragettes,

the scaling of Everest, and much more.

As always, you'll also be able to listen to interviews with leading historians on a variety of

historical topics almost every day. From everything you wanted to know about medieval medicine

to the early days of the first Labour government, we've got some exciting episodes in the works.
