Well, listen to this, according to a new report last week, air traffic controllers at Newark lost all communication with planes for over a minute.

It's getting to the point where we really should clap when the plane lands.

Wow.

Hey, yeah, no kidding.

Turns out our air traffic control system in the United States is horrifically antiquated,

as bureaucratically screwed up is virtually anything the government does, and

probably not very safe.

Other than that, though, it's just a peach.

Yeah, well, it statistically has been very, very safe, including up to, like, right this

moment.

So what?

Until people start dying in droves, you don't maintain it?

What is your point, sir?

Yes, that's true.
