So I am doing a solo show, but we kind of

have some guest hosts of sorts. They're not going to speak to you today but we've had some good questions come up in the Facebook group and it's a question that is really representative of questions I have seen for several years now.

As photographers start using Lightroom, there's inevitably a number of questions that come up over and over and one of we already have

episodes for quite a few of those kinds of questions but there's this there's one

question that came up recently and a lot of people chimed in and said you know what I have that question to you. I'm interested in this answer because it's something that is kind of tough to understand something you don't do regularly and you often end up needing to change things

related to this as you figure out better how to use Lightroom. You're not prepared to understand how to use Lightroom

when you first launch Lightroom.

So now that I've kind of made you wonder what this is,

let's just talk about what the question is. And then, and I'm going to go through lots of technical kind of information about this and we're going to talk through it. I hope it's going to be beneficial to you all. Even if you think you understand

everything about Lightroom catalogs, I encourage you to listen to this

question, this episode because you might pick up a few things here and I'm going to give you some information that

you may have heard contrary information on and you're just going to have to evaluate

convince you that there's good reasons to to believe my take on it. So let's
