Good morning everyone and welcome back to another morning with the masters where we devote

ourselves to the Lord daily with you. Good morning you guys. We are picking up with day two of our

the names of God devotional in the Bible app. There's a link to that in the description of the podcast

if you guys want to follow along with us and as always I'm going to read the scripture and then

Torrey is going to pick it with the divo. Let's do it. So there's actually two verses. The first

one is Hebrews chapter four verse sixteen and it says this. So let us come boldly to the throne

of our gracious God. There we will receive his mercy and we will find grace to help us when we

need it the most. In the next verses Ephesians chapter two verses four and five and it says this.

But because of his great love for us God who is rich in mercy made us alive with Christ even

when we were dead in our transgressions it is by grace that we have been saved. The devotional is

titled Elohi Chesedi, God of Mercy. Life doesn't always guarantee a second chances. There are times when

our poor decisions like harsh words spoken to a friend. Mistakes made on the job. Life choices

that aren't healthy cost us. We lose the friendship. We're dismissed from our job. Our health

suffers. Even if we have a change of heart there's no assurance that everything will be okay.

God's mercy though gives a second chance after second chance. Elohi Chesedi, God of mercy,

showers us with forgiveness and baves us with loving kindness. He is always truthful,

always merciful, always compassionate. If we love him and ask him for his forgiveness

he grants it always. We just need to go ahead and read that paragraph one more time.
