Summary

On today’s show, Jim and Matt are joined by Serra-Longo trained UFC bantamweight Merab Dvalishvili and veteran flyweight Tim Elliott! Moments before Merab Dvalishvili hops on the show, Matt shows Jim another side of Merab’s sense of humor by pulling up a hilarious video montage from the bantamweight’s Instagram account. With just over a month until the UFC 298 co-main event sees Merab Dvalishvili take on Henry Cejudo, Merab fills the guys in on his preparation and whether he finds a difference in fighting Cejudo over three or five rounds. Shortly after Merab leaves, flyweight Tim Elliott joins the show to discuss his mindset coming off a short-notice submission win over Sumudaerji in the first round at the beginning of December. Jim and Matt wrap up the episode with their thoughts on a pair of exciting lightweight fight announcements from Dana White — Dustin Poirier vs. Benoît Saint Denis at UFC 299 and Charles Oliveira vs. Arman Tsarukyan at UFC 300.
