The death always starts dreaming and ends in a dream

There was a senior

Executive in our company and as radio's all digital now.

So he was given the task, I don't really know what the reason was, he was given the task

to listen to my show and I guess see if I was too controversial or I think the idea

was maybe I was too controversial to be put into any more markets.

So they never really told me but this is what I was told by someone who had a good idea.

So he's listening to the show and much like today it was Cinco de Mayo and I was excited

about all things Latino and Spanish language and Texas and our culture and the people.

So I had a buddy down the hall who there was a Spanish language station down the hall

and he was the Astros play by play guy but for the Spanish language audience Astros are

very Houston Astros baseball team very popular with the Latino audience and he's super conservative

as a lot of Latinos are but people don't realize it and he was what's called a P1 he was a

super listener to our show and he would catch me in the hallway during segments and he'd listen

to this or that on his drive into the station that anyone would talk about it and I'd practice

my Spanish with him and so it was on a day that I had had him step into the studio with me

and we had some fun where he's a music nut and so people would call and they would list the name

of a Spanish a famous Spanish love song they're called corritos and they would they would list
