Welcome to Free Thought Radio. I'm Annie Laurie Galore, and it's almost Memorial Day weekend.

And speaking of war, there certainly are atheists in foxholes.

Speaking of tragic and sad deaths and other types of war, this week

marks the first anniversary of the murder by police of George Floyd, and Memorial Weekend

also is the 100th anniversary of the Tulsa Genocide by white townsfolk in Tulsa of at least 36 black Tulsans, possibly up to 300,

and the destruction of the Black Wall Street, erased from memory for nearly a century,

and definitely something that needs to be memorialized.

Annie, Lori, and I were going to be hosting in the library, the Jolby Land and Wanda-Waibirce Library,

but we came here to the building and they're watching the windows in there and it's really noisy.

So we had to move out to this open area at a conference table on the third floor.

And there's no soundproofing at all.

You might hear some trucks going by.

I hope a fire truck doesn't go by when we're doing the show.

But in any event, you all understand we're just making this happen.
