Mental health.

It's something that we think and hear about a lot. Am I right?

Right, mental health is now mainstream. You see it all over the media.

Celebrity is talking about mental health and it's gorgeous, right?

I think that there is nothing more beautiful than having a common open, everyone's involved,

this matters, conversation around, in my opinion the most important health of all

by what's going on in our minds and actually depending on who you speak to or ask,

mental health kind of means different things

to different people.

But there's one kind of dangerous perception

that I think exists kind of want to debunk here because it's easy to believe that it's

accurate right it's easy to believe that mental health, if you have good mental health,

it means that you feel good all the time. Right, it means that you're generally pretty

steady and calm and happy and at peace. And look, that's a gorgeous side effect right of knowing how to manage your

emotions and manage your mind. You will feel more peace, more steadiness, more calm.

But it's absolutely not appropriate or expected by anybody who's actually doing the

real work for you to be feeling that way, even the majority of the time.

So mental health, the way that I define it, the way that we speak about it in self-coaching society,

and the way that I really consider it in my work is this.
