Hi, guys. So, for this week's For The Good of the Order, I'm looking back at 16 years

of conference calls and pitch meetings, keynote decks and sizzle reels, table reads and camera

tests, and of course, Zoom meetings, to break down just how it is that I have ended up

with a TV show on PBS.

I'm doing it because season three of Tell Me More kicks off next week.

It's on every station in the country, but not on the same day and not at the same time,

so I can't really tell you how to watch it except to go to your television set and tell

Okay, so I had been hot on the TV idea since going on the today show with my dad way back

in 2004 after a four minute segment that ended up going for 17.

Can you even imagine that?

Thanks to audience response and a spontaneous producer, someone backstage asked to have

a call with me about being, quote, a mommy correspondent.

This seemed kind of cool and fun, but the call never happened and I went back to my regularly

scheduled life, writing books, and raising my kids and helping out with children's hospital
