Today's for the good of the order is a story I've shared on the pod before, usually at this time of year because I'm thinking about all those

kids, hearing back from all those colleges. And I just don't know if I'll ever stop sharing it

because I'm so sensitive to the fact that every day, people of all ages are being rejected

from something. Some school they wanted to go to shore or a job promotion they were gunning for, or a

relationship they hoped would go the distance. It happens over and over again, and the natural

reaction is to think something bad is happening. And I just know from talking to hundreds of people

for this podcast and hundreds of friends over the years

that oftentimes those low moments, those wicked rejections, turn out to be the beginnings

of something unimaginably awesome. So I'll share this story one more time in the hopes that those days when you think something

has happened from which you will never recover, you might remember Farmer Joe and his horse,

and that rejections are off in the beginning of a new story, and we just don't know it yet.
