something I stumbled over that gave me a burst of optimism, something you can share with

friends like an audio greeting card, something to help us all keep our eyes on what's working

Hey guys, I just had the unmitigated joy of spending an evening in the company of my

cousins.

I have lots of them on the Corrigan side, and they are really to a person funny, easy, warm,

and joyful.

And I remember that in the middle place, the first book, I tried to capture that.

The bulk of the cousins I spent time with are from a family of seven, and I think that

observing that family over a lifetime is a big part of why I always wanted to have a

big family myself.

I mean, of course, my dad was one of six, and they were tied together in unique ways, ways

I haven't seen, replicated in other families.

And so, I went into family life with big dreams, big ideas, in particular, I wanted to have

four children.

So I thought that I would do a little reading in honor of my family.

The way I see it, if you have four kids, you don't really have to do anything else ever.

Three kids is a handful, but one that many people manage to hold.
