Summary

In this episode we discuss the documentary Menendez + Menudo: Boys Betrayed on Peacock. Warning: This documentary and this episode is about child sexual abuse.

Jose Menendez was obsessed with the Puerto Rican teen boy band Menudo. Jose is the father of Lyle and Erik Menendez who killed Jose and their mother Kitty in 1989. We cover this murder case in episode 56. The Menedez brothers were convicted and sentenced to life in prison after two infamous murder trials. This documentary exposes Jose's sexual abuse of Roy Rosello, who became a member of Menudo at 13. The new evidence exposed in this documentary could lead to a legal review of the Menendez brothers' conviction.
