| 1:13.6 | So if you recall, they were originally sentenced to the death penalty. |
| 1:20.1 | But then the death penalty in California kind of went away. |
| 1:25.9 | They were resentenced to life without the possibility of parole. |
| 1:31.2 | And now he's asking them, he's asking a court to approve that they be resentenced again for |
| 1:39.0 | murder and just given a specific sentence being eligible for parole. |
| 1:46.1 | And so the sentence that they would get for murder would be, because there were two murders, |
| 1:52.7 | it would be 50 years to life, 25 years to life times two. |
| 1:57.7 | But because they were both under the age of 26 at the time that they committed the murders, |
| 2:04.9 | they would be eligible for parole sooner and basically eligible for parole right now |
