We are here with you, of course, for one reason and for one reason only, to bring you all the stories of the day,

to tell you the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth,

and to cut through all of the clatter that you hear from other places.

All of the other broadcasting media don't seem to know what they're doing.

They don't seem to know what a story is.

And I'll tell you why, because they don't go anywhere.

They don't talk to anybody.

They don't do anything.

I was on a bus yesterday.

I guarantee you that not one other broadcaster currently sitting in a chair like this, whether on television or radio, has been on a bus in the last 24 hours.

I can tell you what people think because I talk to ordinary people. I hear from ordinary people every single day.

I was in a restaurant last night talking to the waitress who was from the Czech Republic, who was going to Spain for a holiday because she's been working very hard.

I talk to people who have very hard. I talk to people

who have real jobs. I talk to people who do real things. I don't sit in a bubble, whether it be

in Westminster, whether it be somewhere else in the city, whether it be somewhere in London

where everybody's a Ramona. No, what we do here is tell you the truth, the whole truth and nothing

but the truth, even if it is sometimes a little bit insurmountable.

Coming up this morning, we've got plenty to discuss. Could it be the end of the Me Too generation?

Because Amber Heard and Johnny Depp have come to the end of their very highly publicized trial

in which basically Johnny Depp is accusing her of lying about him. Amber Heard, as I would say, made it completely possible for people to say,

once and for all, maybe believing women about everything is actually not right.
