It is Thursday, November 4th. Welcome to menace in the morning, our daily installment of

my thoughts and my co-host Chris Drew joins me. Chris, how's it going this morning?

Oh, going great, man. I'm living the dream.

I'm going to tell you what, I mean, for those of you that tailed my lock of the day yesterday,

you talk about a miserable, miserable beat, bad beat. I mean, it started off. So the

lock of the day was the Carolina Hurricanes and St. Louis Blues parlay, two leg parlay,

and the Hurricanes go out, handle business, they score two goals late to win 4-3, and then

you go to the night game. And I hate doing that because it means I'm going to, if it's a

close game, I'm going to stay up till freaking one in the morning, which I did. So the

blues come out and they're up one nothing after the second period, and then the King scored

two goals. So it's two one in the third period, and it's like power play. First, it's

four on four. Both teams get a penalty. And so it goes four on four. Then the blues get

a penalty. And so now it's four on three. And the Kings have the puck and they're just

playing four corners, just passing around and you're like, fuck, this is how the bet's

going to end. Like, are you shitting me? Well, the blues end up stealing the puck,

getting the goalie off and getting an extra guy on. So now it's four four. And literally

at the last second, they score an equalizer to tie it to two. Then it goes to overtime.

And then it looked like a high school team against an NHL team. I mean, the Kings had

I think six shots on goal. The blues had none. So you're like, damn, that like should

have lost, right? Then you go to the shootout and they end up up to one with both teams

have one shot left. And then the blues go down and or I mean, the Kings go down and

hit it to tie it up to two. So now it's down to the final shooter. All he's got to do
