And Ellington was naughty with his titles.

He didn't mean a Warm Valley as some sort of geographical formation.

And along those lines, on this show, we're going to talk about men and women and, well,

not that, not exactly sex, but I'm in this strange mood and we are going to talk about

men and women as words.

And that is, man, men, women, women, child, children, what is it with those words?

And the irregular plurals and the way they seem to cluster around things like family

members and farm animals.

Just what?

What is that?

Well, you know, there are a lot of interesting stories there.

And you know, I'm in a mood.
