conversation with Chris Cowan.

Chris Cowan was in the outlaw platoon.

He was one of my squad leaders,

and now he's a police officer,

and he's done all sorts of amazing things since he's been out of the military.

But this is the second part of our conversation. The first part, like we intended just to jump, or at least I intended to jump right into the second combat deployment to

Afghanistan but as is typically the case with Chris like he and I will talk

for hours before we actually get on topic and I guess that's just this is how it goes

when you serve in combat together.

Chris, welcome back man. Thank you for giving me more of your time and

thank you for coming back for part two of this amazing conversation. How's it going?

It's going good. So we left off with you lying to your first sergeant and then getting in a huge fight in Watertown and coming back from your first combat deployment from Afghanistan

Having you know been shot at and been blown up and then you turn then we turn right around I mean I got to the

unit in like I think May of 2005 and we turn right around and immediately start

training for the second deployment.
