0:09.5	So I've got an email today from a viewer.
0:12.0	He says he's only read my first book, 3% man one time and he says there is an apparent
0:17.6	contradiction in it.
0:20.1	So when he's talking about how men are supposed to lead the romantic interactions,
0:26.4	but when it comes to exclusivity and being monogamous, it's women who are supposed to bring up
0:33.1	the exclusivity talk.
0:34.8	But he says, well, if men are supposed to lead, aren't they supposed to make
0:37.7	their intentions clear that they want a relationship in the beginning? And the thing we got to remember
0:43.3	is that it's a scientific fact that women are more attracted to men whose feelings are unclear.
0:51.2	Women fall in love slowly over time, and it's best to go slightly slower than the woman
0:59.6	is going who you're dating and courting because what happens is guys get into these situations
1:07.0	where they go out on one or two dates with a girl and they think this is going to be my girlfriend, this is going to be my wife, and they start trying to lock her down to a commitment, they start calling too much, texting too much, trying to do too many dates too soon, and they end up smothering the woman to the point where she feels like she's losing her freedom and she wants to dip on out and then the guy gets ghosted.
1:29.7	This is what you see in a lot of the movies.
1:33.2	The guy is supposed to pursue and wear her down,
1:35.2	and then eventually she throws in a towel and says,
1:36.9	yes, I'll be with you.
1:41.6	The interesting thing is, when you look back at movies 50, 60, 70 years ago,
1:42.9	it was the exact opposite.
1:44.9	The women were always pursuing the guys and trying to get the guys to the best, most available bachelors to settle down and be with them
1:51.0	and live happily ever after. And the reality is that when men are in their natural masculine
