I love baseball. It's like chess with you in the back, isn't that how they figure out if you're

American or not. I always tell them it's like chess with chewing tobacco and they just let me in.

You don't even need a green card, Davey. So Panama robs the Dubai of Central America. How was it?

Oh, Davey. I fell in love to Magnificent Play. We'll talk about the football in a second.

But I adore the city and its people, the spiritual home of Roberto Durán,

Mariano Rivera and Tatiana Narelli, who played Ashley on Fresh Prince of Bel Air.

But the canal, Davey, the canal. Have you ever been there?

I've never been to Panama ever. I spent a morning at a lock on the Panama canal.

Just watching huge container carriers full of frightening front and frankly sailors

who've come from huge distances, going up and down in these locks, the epic scale of it,

the Cecil B. Demilness of it all, and the vision, the American vision that said, yes,

we can carve a huge trough through the heart of the continent for shipping and industry.

It's possibly one of the most stunning, man-made, woman-made things I've ever seen, Davey.
