She gets into the final against Angelic Kerber, Zid Bloody German, Rodge. And she takes her out. Just takes her out in three sets. He held her nerve held on at the end.

It was just so emotional. I had me in tears. I had me in tears. I had my daughter Ingrid in tears watching it. It just was a beautiful, beautiful moment. And she became massive. I had a lot of Puerto Rican friends, Rodge.

And who had no idea that this was going on, who I was sort of messaging. And then gradually I found out that across Facebook, across text, the entire nation of Puerto Rico and the diaspora, Rodge. Suddenly realized they're not big tennis fans. Usually not big women's tennis fans. I haven't had a lot to cheer about over the years. Suddenly got into it. And you just felt an entire island and entire islands diaspora cheering for this woman. Her life will never be the same again. Amazing stuff.
