had been a little bit more into football. A lifelong Liverpool fan who left Mersey Side to play

with a Cleveland Cobra's. In the American Soccer League, pulling that opportunity to delve into

the sports footwear business and somehow into gaming where he rose to become the COO of the

invisible hand that's grown football in this country. EA Sports FIFA. But June the first, he became one

of the most intriguing signings of the transfer window when he returned to his childhood home,

assuming his new role as the CEO of Liverpool Football Club. The team he chaired his little heart out

for while growing up in the late 50s, 60s and 70s. We welcome to the pod. A man whose résumé

sounds like the most avant-garde football mixtape of all time, joining us live and in person

I've got a start off by telling you that the photos you tweet of the sunsets on the river Mersey,

now that you've returned, they stir inside of me a longing for our city. You seem to be genuinely

happy after traveling all around the world to be back in that remarkable city. Circle of life,

it's a fabulous city. I lived there in the 60s, I was born,

septum general hospital and lived in Gaston, my dad at a pub, right on speak road.
