Regular listeners know I've been trying to support American indie bookstores with the release of my memoir Reborn in the USA.

So Nick and I take this last week with a live audience online to support that great LA institution, Book Soup.

It was a really lovely conversation, personal joyous and I hope it'll bring some meaning to your day.

Here it is, my conversation with Nick.

This is Roach. I'm delighted to be with you for this evening of conversation, the celebration of my book Reborn in the USA.

I'll say the reception across America has been so bloody humbling. But it's also a night to support American Indies in general and one incredible jewel of a story in particular.

Book Soup, that magnificent kingdom, uncensored boulevard, West Hollywood.

I want to thank all of you who join us to support this gem live. It means a lot to us. It really does support your American Indies now.

And this is a really special evening for me because my book's been out in the world for over a month.

And I'm genuinely humbled by the reception it's received across America. But I feel like I've talked about it and talked about it and talked about it, my journey, my American.

So I've talked about it up the wazoo. And it's really hard to keep talking partially because I'm both English by birth and also Jewish.

I've been cursed in life with a double portion of self loathing. So I never really enjoy talking about my own crap, which is almost wired the fur to football.

But because this book is my story, you know, I've had to keep talking about it a lot. So tonight feels special because for the first time in the whole Reborn in the USA pollusa.

I'm actually speaking with a family member and I'm going to break it to you. It's not my dad. And I know so many of you would like a return of I've been it to the pod.

It's not happening. I'm going to bring up my brother in law who's a remarkable gem because he is one of America's most sought after creators in the arena into which I dip my toe lightly with Reborn in the USA.

He's the man dubbed as the Picasso of puberty by the New York Times is the co creator is the co life force really behind Netflix is big mouth.
