A few more passionate performers in the world of music today. Perversa, passion, ting, with melancholy, I should say.

Let me start by just saying, I admire, I'm looking forward to talking about it. I admire the bravery of what you do and how you do it immensely. You are a man. You really put himself out there.

Thank you. I'd say that's a big part of what I would consider to be my art. And that's about sharing oneself to help other people feel comfortable and sharing themselves.

That's something that we stumbled upon on accident with Future Islands, which was really just a project that me and my friends, when I'm cashed in Garrett Womers, started as a previous band, our first year of university.

Carolina. And North Carolina, East Carolina University. And yeah, we started in 2003, writing 2006's Future Islands around 2008. That's where we finally were seeing people going from love and what we do and having a great time to come back.

And I wanted to actually really say, wow, you helped me through a time in my life. And that's kind of when you said, well, well, hell, I've been going through a time in my life. And that's where the music and the words are coming from.
