Oh, MLS kicks off its 21st season this Sunday. If it was a person, North America's League would only just be old enough to legally raise a Guinness to its lips or gamble on the Boaxi River Boat.

But it's come such a long way in that short time, developing a vibrant fan culture, narrative and backstory to grow its footprint in the US and inexorably raise its global profile.

On the eve of this season, there's so many storylines waiting to be answered.

Contraditional powerhouse LA Galaxy, stocking up with veterans like that Bruce Willis, Helen Mirren, Red franchise, ride their experience to deliver Steven Gerard to the title Promised Land.
