0:48.3	my freshman year at UCLA in 1985. And you were filming this TV movie, I'm Fenster in German,
0:55.2	off-doich means a window in Manhattan, a window. That's what I remember. I'm Fenster. I don't
1:01.2	remember. That's so funny that you bring. That's such a long time ago. So I was, I was in New
1:10.5	York City. I had gone there to be a theater actor and then got into Juilliard and I was studying
1:16.3	drama. It was my freshman year. And we saw that they had a bulletin board in the, like the
1:23.3	student area. And, and there was an announcement for an audition for a German film. It was near
1:28.4	the end of my freshman year, spring in my freshman year. Right. And so a bunch of us went in from
1:33.3	school, you know, my class, some older classes, you know, seniors and everybody. I ended up getting
1:39.0	this role. And I was thrilled because I hadn't really, I don't know if I had done much film acting
1:46.4	very little. Right. Anyway, I got this role. And it was, it was a German little indie film,
1:53.7	art film. It was a tiny little role. Maybe one scene, I think. I think it was just one scene where a
1:59.9	German, a young German man had come from Germany to New York City to find himself. And so it was,
2:07.4	I think that movie was, I can't even remember. Wait, you played German then. You're playing a German
2:12.9	No, I was playing an American. You're playing American German actor come over. And most of the film
2:18.4	was in German. And the scene that I had with him, he was trying to find his self creatively.
2:25.3	Okay. And who he was. And so I think a window in Manhattan was like a window into who his
