It may not be a major gentleman, but this tournament has been won by some of the all-time great Jack Nicholas. Not only designed it, but he won here. Tom Watson, Tiger Woods, Ernie Yells, John Rom, Scottie Schaeffler, the list goes on and on. It's a tournament that attracts the very best, and it seems to be that the person who's on top of the heap come Sunday, seems to be a top time golfer in the world. We'll see if you guys feel that same way when we get to your outrights later in the show. As for the course, it was open in 1974. |
